Getting help with an asset
For PathFinder, most questions are answered in the documentation, in particular the troubleshooting and performance sections. If that doesn't solve it, or for any other asset, send us an email with:
- Your Unity version and render pipeline.
- The asset and its version (for PathFinder it is shown at the top of the Pathfinder Manager inspector).
- What you expected and what happened instead. A screenshot of the graph gizmos or the inspector helps a lot.
- For bugs: the console error text and, if possible, a minimal scene or the steps to reproduce.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work with URP and HDRP?
Yes. The package contains no materials or shaders; the demo scenes build their visuals at runtime with whatever pipeline is active.
Which Unity versions are supported?
Unity 2021.3 LTS and newer, including Unity 6. Development and testing happen on the latest Unity 6 release.
Is the source code included?
Yes, everything is plain C# under a small set of assembly definitions. There are no DLLs or native plugins.
Can I use it in commercial games?
Yes. The package is licensed under the standard Unity Asset Store End User License Agreement, one seat per developer.
Does it support 2D?
Yes. Set the manager's movement plane to XY; the grid graph scans with 2D physics and the agents and local avoidance work in the XY plane.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Unity according to the Asset Store refund policy. If something doesn't work for you, contact us first; we'd rather fix the problem.
Feature requests
We keep a public roadmap in the changelog of the package and prioritise by what customers ask for. Send your request to the support address with a short description of your use case.
